Date: X college observed the Independence Day with
due somberness and zeal at its premises yesterday. To celebrate the day, a
special committee was formed previously. The assistant professor was the head
of this 7 member committee. The occasion was combined with discussion and milad
mahfil etc. The college premises were decorated elegantly. An artistic gate was
built at the entrance of college field. Some special guests as well as parents
of the students were invited to be present at the program. The program began
with the hoisting of our national flag. A colourful procession was brought out
by the students which paraded round the main street of the town. After
the parade was over, a meeting was held in the college auditorium. The
parliamentary member of the area, Mr Z was the chief guest. He delivered a
vigorous speech inspiring the people to cherish the spirit of liberation war.
The principal of the college presided over the meeting. The program was
drawn to an end with a milad and doa mahfil. Maulana A carried out it.
