Your Favorite Game

Many of us have a special interest for games. Likewise I have a great liking for a particular game and that is Football. I like the game for various reasons. It is a game of great excitement both for the players and spectators. This game is played by two parties of eleven players on each side. It is played in a large field having a length of 110 to 120 yards long and 70 to 80 yards width. There are two posts at each of the two opposite ends of the field. Each team places a goal keeper before the goal post to prevent the ball from entering into the goal post. The ball is placed at the center of the field. As soon as the referee blows the whistle, the game begins. The game is played in compliance with some rules.   Every player must abide by the rules. Linesmen help the referee to conduct the game. The team which scores more goals is the winner. When each team scores a goal or equal number of goals the game ends in a draw. Football is a great form of exercise. It is full of energy and thrill. Like all other games, it teaches us some qualities. It teaches us to be closely controlled and assiduous.  Unlike other games, only a ball is needed to play this game. Furthermore, the time span of football is less than few other games. This is why I have great attraction for this game.
